      I’ve tried several times. It’ll find my network in the scan, but after entering the WiFi password, it tried to connect but timed out. Any suggestions?

        @jetforme If you are having trouble getting online, you can update your Zumi version manually.Here are the instructions for uploading the new SD card image. Thank you for waiting!

            @robolink_leila I am not sure if I connect to 2.4 or 5 Ghz but I will give it a try on 2.4 Ghz. Thanks!

              @young92117 If you want to access the internet or update Zumi, you will need to be in online mode 🙂

                @robolink_leila Thank you, I‘ll switch to 2.4 GHz to test it.

                  @andjue24 Unfortunately, Zumi cannot establish a connection to 5GHz networks. Were you able to connect to the 2.4GHz network?

                    @robolink_leila I was able to use the offline mode. What is the difference between online mode and offline mode? Also, I saw some menu option is greyed out when I was using offline mode? Is this because of I am using offline mode or those menu items are not available currently?

                      @robolink_leila Same here. I am using an Apple Time Capsule 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with an iPhone, a Win 10 tablet and a Macbook Pro. Unfortunately I cannot establish an online connection. I am able to run Zumi in Offline mode.

                          I still have same issue. Does anyone have solution for this issue or workaround?

                            @robolink_leila Not sure if I'm having issues or not, but it seems to work. For example, I was able to run the smile-recognition demo app. It was hard to position myself perfectly for it to recognize, but it did. It's quite slow, loading web pages, but it works.

                                @robolink_leila The directly-connected machine's issue has to do with how it resolves zumidashboard.ai (because it's got a real DNS server, and isn't using Zumi’s, zumidashboard.ai resolves to a routable IP address. I’m not sure what the right solution is here).

                                Neither my iPhone nor my MacBook Pro can get Zumi to connect to Wi-Fi.

                                  @JetForMe I saw you made another post, but I'm not sure if this is the same issue. Was this resolved when you used a machine that was not directly connected to the router?

                                    I've tried connecting over a couple of days now, no luck.

                                    I've got a Ubiquiti UniFi AP-AC-Lite with WPA encryption offering both 2 GHz and 5 GHz networks (under the same SSID). All the other devices in my house can connect to it. I actually copied and pasted the password from the WLAN configuration page to make sure I wasn't mistyping it.

                                      @JetForMe ,
                                      I'll send these reports to the team and see if we can find a solution. In the meantime, try running in offline mode, or connect again later. Thank you for the feedback!

                                        I'm having a same issue. I also reflash the SD card with new img file from robolink. That doesn't seem like help either.
