What is the black cylindrical component on the right side?

On the right side of Zumi there is small rectangular opening, that overlaps with the window. Just inside there is a vertical black cylindrical component. What is this?

@gpvillamil It is an IR remote controller receiver but we have not integrated any code for it yet. We are planning on working on it soon.
