Codrone does not pair
-
Hello, my name is Jennifer, I just purchased the Codrone Pro and unfortunately, the device is not pairing with the control. I have tried new batteries and even rebuilt it again but no luck. I think I have a defected control. Please advise

@luzurriaga Could you attach a screenshot of your setup with your remote and your drone both powered on?

@robolink_leila Thank you, it worked! I uploaded the flight controller but my drone's still not pairing.

@luzurriaga To select the right board, go to Tools > Board then search for Rokit-Smartinventor-mega32_v2. Note: If you have a newer version of Arduino, the board may install inside of Tools > Board > Arduino AVR Boards > Rokit-Smartinventor-mega32_v2. If you don't see the board listed anywhere, could you let me know if any of these steps didn't work for you?

I tried all your suggestions but no luck. When I upload the flight controller it gave me the following message:Wrong microcontroller found. Did you select the right board for the Tools > Board menu?

@luzurriaga Sorry to hear that! When you turn on the remote, do you see the pairing blue light pattern as seen at around the 3-minute mark in this video? Make sure the DIP switches on the left of your remote are all down and press the reset button once if you need to for the pairing sequence to start again. The CoDrone should be on and blinking green. If you still can't pair, reupload the default flight controller found in Lesson 2J on our Workbench site. The instructions for setting up your device for uploading can be found in lessons 1D-1F. Let me know if you have any more questions!
