Do you need to use the controller to program the codrone with Python? I would have thought you could run a program, using the laptops bluetooth?

@brad-nielsen Full Python editing in the browser can be tricky, so it’s something we haven’t tackled yet. We well revisit it in the future, but no immediate plans at this time.

In the meantime, you can check out our Python pathway on Basecamp, which uses PyCharm to do the text-based coding.

@admin Just wondering, will the Python editor in Blockly be able to be used one day, or alternatively could Python control the drone through the laptops bluetooth rather than the BLE module? This would be a nice feature.

You can use the laptops internal bluetooth for Blockly only, but you will need the BLE board for Python or Arduino programming.
