    • RE: Zumi map

      @beaucarnes ,
      We do have a Zumi intersection underway! In the meantime, here are a few ideas:

      • Use a whiteboard on a table as a field and use whiteboard markers to draw and redraw roads
      • Build obstacles out of blocks or household objects
      • Print out a course on regular 8.5x11 paper and tape it together

      If you have any ideas, please let us know!

      @andjue24 We apologize for the missing part. Please fill out the Zumi Replacement Form with a link to this thread for our reference. We will get that out to you as soon as possible!

      @rkm On your device, go to your Wifi settings and find 'Petrone FPV XXXX'. Connect with the default password 12345678. Hope this helps!

    • RE: Controller not properly working. Drone only goes right

      @cs From the images, I can see that the fourth connector is connected backward. Could you try again after rewiring? It may solve your issue. If it seems like all of the controls are inverted, you can refer to step 6 of the build guide to review the wiring.

      @JetForMe ,
      I'll send these reports to the team and see if we can find a solution. In the meantime, try running in offline mode, or connect again later. Thank you for the feedback!

    • RE: website

      Hi @waseityb ,

      With CoDrone Lite, you can code with block coding (Blockly for Robolink) or Python (using Jupyter Notebook). You can also use the Petrone App available on App Store and Play Store to pair with CoDrone but it's only for flying and not for coding. Hope this answers your questions!

      thanks @ixmclean! @dstarkey22 The kit does come with some extra propellers in case you need some more to ensure that you have the proper orientation ๐Ÿ™‚

      I've talked to @robolink_arnold and this has been logged. This board seems to be defective, we'll be in contact for a replacement.

      @nohzen Not all IR sensors will be exactly the same so that behavior is very normal. Just set different thresholds for each IR sensor for detecting objects ๐Ÿ™‚

    • RE: Multithreading with CoDrone

      @mikel There is a limitation as to how many commands you can send at once and with what frequency. Keep in mind that we do not offer any tutorials for advanced content but maybe this post can help answer some of your questions: https://forum.robolink.com/topic/712/best-practices-for-sensor-data-acquisition/2

      Hi @peter,

      We are just as excited as you are! As for the new release, we will be doing some testing. Every Pi is different and our Zumi software was built to run specifically on the Pi Zero W only. The setup has been optimized for the Pi Zero W so any other Pi out of the box won't work with the Zumi SD card, unfortunately. We will keep you updated!

      @matyihi If you are looking for a while true loop, it's best to use the orange "is code running?" block. This block will check if you have stopped the code and keep the browser from crashing. Let us know if this helps!

    • RE: cannot pair codrone lite with blockly.

      @verdicchio Hi there,
      I answered on the other thread about why you cannot pair. I also wanted to clear up that there are two Blockly coding platforms, one for CoDrone Lite/Pro and one for CoDrone Mini. Make sure you select the right one that matches with your product.

    • RE: CoDrone Lite won't pair with Blockly

      @verdicchio If you have tried to pair to CoDrone using Blockly without any device connected then it is likely that your device is not enabled with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). Since we have phased out Snap! and we are solely using our web-based coding software, you will need to have a BLE enabled device. Most recent laptops and Chromebooks will not be an issue but desktop computers and older laptops will not work.

      Another update here! Snap! has been phased out so you will find our Block coding on Blockly, a web-based coding platform. If you want to see our lessons for all of the languages, check out our Basecamp website.

    • RE: Is CoDrone Compatible with Chromebooks?

      Hi, everyone!
      I just wanted to update everyone on the new way to program CoDrone with Chromebooks. At the moment, Blockly programming with a Chromebook. Snap! has been phased out and we only use our web platform that runs on Chrome. Codebender is working on adding our board to their Arduino web editor, but in the meantime, there will be no text-based coding available on Chromebooks.

    • RE: Drones flying to the ceiling

      @sbrels4d CoDrone relies on the optical flow sensor and height sensors for its position. If you have some highly reflective floors or are flying in a dark room, it might be difficult for the drone to stabilize. If you have labeled the bottom of the drones, make sure nothing is obstructing the opening where the sensors are. Let us know if you have any questions! Feel free to attach pictures of the bottom of your drones and the classroom.

      @aada2019 The input will correspond to how much battery power is provided to the motors. We do not have information on the exact voltage or rpm.

    • RE: CoDrone propellor speed

      Hi @aada2019 ,
      There is no way to individually control motor speeds aside from the functions on our documentation page. The speeds will vary as it is affected by any disturbances in order to maintain its direction.

    • RE: CoDrone Lite USB Board Disconnecting

      @jacksonpope2 I am not sure what you are referring to. The Rokit and CoDrone board are the same but the libraries are different. You can definitely program the board with both libraries but the Rokit library will not be able to program the drone.
